Greece Tourist Visa
If you are planning to visit Greece as a tourist, business, visiting family or friends, cultural and educational, sports, or medical reasons, then you must know the visa requirements for this Southern European nation.
For visiting Greece for less than 90 days one will need a short-term type C visa. This short-term type C visa is also known as the Schengen Visa. As you may be aware that the Schengen visa is valid in all the European Union countries which have an Schengen agreement.
Documents Required
Additional Documents:
Employed:
- Salary slip for the last 3 months
- Original leave letter from employer
Company owner or self-employed:
- Certificate of registration of the company / Certificate of Incorporation (MOA / Proof of Proprietorship / Partnership deed, etc)
- Covering letter on the company letter head and financial documents
Student:
- Original NOC letter from school / college with ID card copy
Retired:
- Pension statements for the last three months
- Proof of regular income generated by ownership of property or business
Minor traveler:
- If travelling alone, then an original NOC by both parents and a copy of their passports (first and last page)
Visiting Family or Friend
Additional documents may be required when you are applying for visiting relatives or friends.
Business Trip
Additional documents may be required when you are applying for business purpose:
- Invitation from the inviting company or organization;
- Cover letter from the applicant’s employer;
Note: Both letters must confirm, as a minimum:
a. the applicant’s identity
b. the purpose of the journey (meeting, conferences, training or business related events); and
c. the duration and place of intended stay.
