Online MBA courses are also availble in many universities. If you are an international student, you must study a full-time MBA, as you cannot get a Tier 4 Visa (UK Study Visa) for a part time MBA.
Contrary to the popular belief that all MBA programs require work experience, International students can study an MBA without having prior work experience in the UK.
All UK MBA programs accepts applications from Indian students who have finished their 12 + 3 years Bachelors in India. Thus, you can directly study an MBA in UK as soon as you have finished your Bachelors in India.
MBA in the UK is of 1 year duration in most UK universities. Only a few MBA programs are longer.
Most MBA programs in UK begins in September each year. Some UK universities also offers MBA programs that begins in January, but there are very limited. Best time to start an MBA in UK is recommended to be in September.
Many UK universities requires at least 2 years of work experience.
Most UK MBA courses will not need a GMAT. Only a few UK universities needs GMAT such as London Business School, Cranfield School of Management, Oxford University, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London and a few more. GRE is accepted in lieu of GMAT for most UK MBA programs.
IELTS test or PTE test is compulsory for most UK universities although many universities waive off IELTS, if you have scored well in your 12th English score. TOEFL is also accepted by many UK universities. However, TOEFL is not accepted when you apply for a UK student visa (Tier 4 Visa).
Best time to apply for MBA in UK is October and November for the forthcoming September intake. UK universities do not have specific deadlines to apply for MBA though. Students can continue applying until June for the September intake.
International students can work up to 20 hours per week during MBA program and full-time during holidays.
You could stay back for 4 months to find jobs in the UK after you have finished your course within the stipulated duration as mentioned on you Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS). If you secure a job offer of over GBP 20800 annually. you can apply for a Tier 2 visa that allows you an extension to work in the UK for 3 years.

In order to get admission in the UK Universities, student needs to demonstrate his / her English language proficiency. Acceptable English Language Tests in the UK:
Statement of Purpose (SOP) is an important part of your application process while applying to Master’s Program in the UK. The statement you write provides additional evidence of your intellectual and creative achievement. Such a statement is also the only opportunity for the readers of your application (admission department, committee) to get a feel for you as a person as well as for you as a student.
The statement of purpose is also the place where you can put your academic records into the context of your opportunities and obstacles, your long-term career goals and more.
Your personal statement should be exactly that – personal. This your opportunity to tell a University about yourself – your hopes, ambitions, life experiences, inspirations, why Study in UK, what attracts you about a specific UK University.
A well crafted Resume goes a long way. It should clearly tell about your employment, education and achievements. Generally, we recommend that your resume / CV should be of 1 page or max 2 pages.
A recommendation letter that highlight’s candidate’s achievements in academic or professional world would add great value for the candidature.
Though work experience is not necessary for Most UK universities. However, if you have study gaps, you must justify your gaps, by providing work experience letters.
Most of the UK Universities will ask you to submit the front and last page of your passport. And, if you have previously studied in the UK or have undertaken any visits, UK Universities may ask you to fill an immigration history form.
The interview is usually the last step during the admission process. Most UK universities will not do an interview. However, there are several universities, where it is compulsory. These interviews could be conducted by a faculty member. These interview are more often informal in nature and are meant for information exchange. There interviews allow university representative to judge the candidates’ focus, passion, future career goals and personality.
After your application is submitted. UK University will offer you a Conditional offer of admission. The conditions that you need to fulfill will be mentioned on the conditional offer letter. It could be about finishing your final year of studies with a specific score or submitting English Language Proficiency Test Scores. Once you meet all the conditions, you will receive and unconditional offer letter of admission. This means you can move to the next step of making a deposit payment to the University.
Once the deposit payment is done, you University will issue a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) which is the document that you need to submit to apply for a UK Student Visa (Tier 4 Study Visa). You must verify all the information in the CAS thoroughly before making a UK Student Visa Application and get any errors rectified by the University.
